Snowdonia Tumbled Slate 20-40mm

A unique mix of the best in Welsh slate, Snowdonia Tumbled Slate 20-40mm are made by taking equal amounts of blue, plum and green paddlestones and mixing them together whilst they tumble slowly to round off all the edges and surfaces, to produce a stunning smooth pebble-like slate aggregate. Each piece is like a skimming stone or water worn pebble giving both a beautiful texture and striking colour. When wet these pebbles are transformed into something even more unique and special. They are used mainly for planting areas, paths but especially around water features, ponds or streams where the water brings out the beautiful mix of colours and shows them off to their best. As they are very flat they are easy to walk on and are a must for any garden design. They are best laid at 4-5cm deep, however they even look great in the top of a plant pot or tub. The actual size ranges between 10-50mm. To create additional interest and highlights to your garden, mix them with pieces of slate rockery or boulders.
